(Oct 2012 - Feb 2017) Ford Motor Company/Kaleidoscope:

Senior visualization specialist for Ford Motor Company.  Interiors lead.  Responsibilities included prepping NURBS data, and creating full visualization animations to help showcase automotive designs for internal review.  The software used included Maya, After Effects, Nuke, and Alias. 

(Feb 2012 - Oct 2012) SpinVFX:

Senior Lighting TD on the projects "The Bourgias," "Nikita," "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter," "Resident Evil:Retribution," and "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2."  The software used was Maya, Katana, Renderman, and Vray. 

(June 2011 -Jan 2012) ArmstrongWhite:
Senior CG Artist on various accounts.  The software used was Nuke, 3d Max, and Vray.

(Dec 2010 –May 2011) Maxsar Digital:
Senior Lighting Lead on the independent feature film, "Scar 23."  The software used was Nuke, Maya and Vray.

(Feb 2008 –Dec 2010) ImageMoversDigital:
Lighting lead and senior lighting TD on the feature films, "Disneys: A Christmas Carol," and, " Mars Needs Moms."  The software used was Maya, Renderman, Nuke, and proprietary tools.

(April 2007 –January 2008) Vanguard Animation:
Sequence lighting lead on the feature film, "Space Chimps."  The software used was Maya, Renderman, and Shake.

(Feb 2007 –April 2007) The Orphanage:
Senior lighting TD on, "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End."  The software used was Maya and Mental Ray.

(Nov 2004 – Jan 2007) Disney Feature Animation:
Senior lighting and compositing TD on, "Chicken Little," and, "Meet the Robinsons."  Duties included environment lighting for sequences, creating light rigs, key shot lighting, setting up master composite scripts (Shake), and shot lighting.  The software used was Maya, Renderman, Shake and proprietary tools.

(Nov 2003 - Nov 2004) Dreamworks Animation:
Senior lighting and compositing TD on the animated feature, "SharkTale."  Completed production shots, and contributed to shot look development.  The software used was Maya, Mental Ray, Renderman, and Shake.

(Nov 2002 - Nov 2003) Digital Domain:
Senior lighting and compositing TD on the film, "The Day After Tomorrow ."  Assisted in pipeline testing, look development, training new hires, and setting up lighting rigs and pre-comps.  The software used was Maya, Houdini, Mantra, Renderman, and Nuke.

(May 1999 - June 2002) Sony Imageworks:
Lighting and compositing TD on the films, "What Lies Beneath," "Castaway," "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," "Stuart Little 2," "The Tuxedo," and "Men in Black 2."  Duties included lighting, compositing, and some look development.  The software used was Houdini, Maya, Renderman, BIRPS, ( Imageworks' proprietary lighting/rendering software), and Bonsai, ( Imageworks proprietary compositing software).

(1997-1999) Travelling Pictures:
CG generalist on a variety of local and national broadcast projects.  Software included Houdini, Lightwave, and After Effects.  Clients included Donner, Young & Rubicam, BBDO, and Sony Imageworks.


(1996-1997) The Center for Creative Studies, Detroit, Michigan.  I completed 4 semesters, with concentrations in computer animation and illustration.

(1991-1995) B.F.A. University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.  I Majored in graphic design, with concentrations in fine art, and photography.


I am comfortable with Unix/Linux, Mac, and Windows based operating systems.  Some experience with shell scripting, and the MEL, Perl, and Python scripting languages.
